Register as customer of the library ()
If you are not a student or an employee of Uniarts Helsinki and if you are at least 15 years of age, you can register as a customer by using an online form. Registration in advance speeds up the process when you come to pick up your library card. Once you have saved your data you can visit any of the locations of the Uniarts Helsinki Library and get your library card. Bring a valid ID card with you. Pick up your library card within three months. Provide us your email address so that we can send you a link to the online form. The link must be opened with the same device that has been used for ordering the link. NOTE: If you are a student or an employee of Uniarts Helsinki or if you are under 15 years of age, do not fill in the online form and instead, follow the instructions here.
Students and staff of Uniarts Helsinki
We can obtain your data from the university’s user register, which means that you do not have to fill in this registration form. You can log in to Arsca using your Uniarts credentials, which also gives you access to the library’s e-resources.
However, borrowing physical material from the library requires a library card. To get one, please register as a customer of the Uniarts Helsinki library using the Tuudo mobile app, which will give you instant access to all library services using Tuudo’s digital library card. If you wish to have a traditional printed library card, you should visit the library’s customer service during its opening hours. Please be prepared to provide proof of your identity with a passport, identity card or driving licence when you come and pick up your card.
Registration of a customer under the age of 15
Registration of a customer under the age of 15 requires the consent of the person’s guardian. Print and fill in the library card application together with your guardian.
